Why should you be here? To experience a luxurious forest stay and play golf in beautiful Gokarna forest. It was historically the private royal hunting ground of the erstwhile Kings of Nepal.
What’s about the stay? Spread over 470 acres and surrounded by spectacular Himalayas, it’s one of the most beautiful golf resort of Nepal. You can enjoy their complementary yoga, Sauna, Jacuzzi and swim at their indoor pool.
What else can you do? Obviously play golf at 4,550 ft above sea level, the 6,755 yard par 72 course; dine at the restored Hunter’s Lodge where they serve the authentic Nepalese cuisine; do some other outdoor activities such as cycling tour, bird watching and horse riding. Their property tour is also quite nice but is not complementary.
Places to visit nearby: This place is close to the Bodha, so from the airport you can definitely visit Bodha and then check in at the resort because once you reach GFR you would not want to step out of this place.
